Spring for the Stars & Show Your Stripes

Few causes spark as much emotion as kids who are truly, truly in need. Those who, without the mission of St. Joseph Orphanage, might not have any safety net at all. The St. Jo mission is the center of the "Spring for the Stars" fund-raiser, to be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Paul Brown Stadium. Proceeds benefit their continuing mission throughout the coming year just as they have for generations of kids in years past. What a noble cause and what a fantastic evening to benefiting it.

Highlights include:

• Excellent catered dinner

• Auction hosted by Cincinnati's most energetic newsman - Bob Herzog!

• Stadium tour

• Festive after-party for night owls!

Friedrich Advertising is proud to be a part of the event's promotion by donating marketing materials to get the word out. Please make plans to join us and show your stripes for this big event.

Together We Can! Campaign for SEM Food Pantry

Bring your time, talents and tin cans to the SEM Food Pantry at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church. What a great thing we do when we help those you are in need.

"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and will be repaid in full."   Proverbs 19:17

In 2009, the SEM Food Pantry served more than 11,000 hungry people. This year, they have provided food to more than 2,300 families in Anderson and Mt. Washington, nearly half of those with children.

Friedrich Advertising was proud to donate marketing materials for this worthy endeavor. You to can get involved at the MWPC Food Pantry, or through your church or community food pantry. If each of us pitches in just a few items, "Together We Can!" make a real change in people's lives that begins by stemming hunger.

New Dan Beard Scout Campaign Asks for "Parent Pledge"

Cub Scouts jump at the opportunity to say their "Promise" and participate just for the fun of it. Boy Scouts are eager to live their "Oath" toward advancement and a deeper understanding of its meaning. It only seemed natural to get the bigger family members involved with a Scouting "Parent Pledge." It reads as follows:

"I will do my part and step forward;

To lead, assist and offer my talents

toward the advancement of all Scouts;

To support financially, as I am able;

To help ensure the continuing mission

of the Boy Scouts of America."

There are few avenues in raising a son that offer as much growth, skill building, friendships and fun as Cub and Boy Scouting. For everything that it has done for my Scouts, Friedrich Advertising was eager to assist the Dan Beard Council in Cincinnati, Ohio with the above positioning and ensuing marketing materials for their 2011 fundraising campaign.
